Scott Loach is an English goalkeeper, who played for Ipswich Town until the end of the 2013-14 season when he was released by the club.

Former-Town boss Paul Jewell, signed the Ipswich-fan keeper from Watford in the summer of 2012. However, Loach's first season at the club didn't get off to the best start, as he was replaced in goal by Stephen Henderson on loan from West Ham, but when Henderson was recalled, Loach regained his place in between the sticks.

Loach got off to a good start in the 2013-14 season, but after a poor opening month, McCarthy once again dropped Loach from the starting 11 and was replaced by new keeper Dean Gerken, and after that he made one more appearance against Blackpool on February 1st.

He left the club at the end of the season and signed for Rotherham United.
